Goals: This is an (16.0) hour hybrid training course sponsored by AHOP University (Ministries of AHOP). The Certified Christian Development Coach (CCDC) course is a learning-based certification conferred by the Strategic Learning Alliance (SLA), approved by CAMFT. This course is designed to assist LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs, LEPs and is an approved course through the CAMFT and (coaching concepts) Learning Alliance which will emphasize the core components of coaching and counseling within the functional areas of individual leadership, team leadership, as well as strategic and critical thinking. Through this course you will gain the necessary understanding to pass the ‘CCDC’ certification process (included with the course structure) by learning what it means to COACH from a faith based perspective; understanding the processes that make an effective faith based COACH, and applying PEAK Learning concepts to recognize, analyze, and prepare yourself on how to identify and intervene with a faith-based persons living with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm habits, abuse survivors, domestic violence, substance abusers, anger management issues, fear, shame, post traumatic distress, panic and any disorder on levels through the certification experience. Instructor Information Dr. Arthur Law III, Th.D., CMPC the presenter for this course, is a Doctor of Counseling and Leadership, Christian Counselor with the Board of Certified Professional Pastors & Counselors, Certified Master Professional Coach with Strategic Learning Alliance (Neurolinguistic Programmer), Approved Continuing Education Provider with CAMFT, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Prepare & Enrich Relationship Mentor (Pre-Marital, Marital, and Family), Certified Group Centered Counselor and Grief & Loss Specialist. He is an accomplished presenter and instructor. Dr. Law is a frequent presenter at conferences, seminars and workshops on faith, marriages, families, ‘Grief & Loss,’ ‘Crisis & Trauma,’ addictions, abuse, domestic violence, leadership and mentoring. REFUND/CANCELATION POLICY: Participants may receive a full refund for CEU payment if canceling within 14 days of the course date in the form of original payment. Certificates: Course Completion certificates will be awarded at the end of the course in exchange for a completed evaluation form and per syllabus course requirements. Attendance records will be kept for 1 year for those who need to request a duplicate certificate of completion.
